Usually, the best way to do this is to go with a PPC marketing agency, but you need to get one that gives you complete transparency so you can audit their numbers and ensure that they are applying due diligence when they are buying ad campaigns, writing creative ad text, and landing you on pages most likely to turn into a sale.
The Three major PPC channels are Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN Adcenter. On top of these, there are engines like MIVA and sources like Doubleclick, which is now owned by Google.

Special note: Make sure your PPC management agency is certified, and that the person working on your account understands what they are doing. Several agencies that claim to drive leads to your site often are using ineffective techniques that are not likely to drive conversions. Many pay per click agencies also have a vested interest in making sure you spend money but they may not be focused on conversions.
